2. Description
The puncturing strength of paperboard refers to the consumptive power used for a pyramid to break
through the paper board.
It includes the power created when start to puncture and make the paper break with holes.
The tester uses triangle pyramid to puncture specimen, and read the impact value.
The main function of the tester is to learn the structural strength of the paperboard and provides basis
to improve quality of carton.
It is applied to any type of paper board such as case board, corrugated paper board.
